Places of Interest

• Casa del Estrelas is a five minute walk from the centre of a small village, where there are two bars and two small grocery shops.
• The market town of Loulé, with its Moorish indoor market, is a 10 minute drive away. There are many handicraft fairs and cultural activities on offer during the summer, including free jazz concerts.
  
• The Carnival is in February.
  
• It takes about 15-20 minuutes to drive to Parque das Cidades Football Stadium.
  
• The famous Fatacil Fair at Lagoa is held in August and is 25 minutes away by car.

Golf

• We are situated in the centre of the Algarve, all the major golf courses are within easy reach.
• The closest are at Vilamoura where there are 5 courses just a 15 minute drive away.

Coast and Beaches

• Vilamoura and Quarteira - 15 mins.
• Albufeira - 20 mins.
• Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago - 30 mins.

The Algarve

• The Algarve now offers a fabulous array of sporting, social and cultural activities.
• These include golf, tennis, fishing, sailing, scuba-diving, horse riding, go-karting, safari jeep tours, boat trips, waterparks, Zoomarine, casinos with dining and cabaret, concerts, multiplex cinemas, discos, clubs, art exhibitions, outdoor markets and large shopping centres.
• A car is essential for a full and enjoyable holiday.
